Letter to Jennifer Granholm, U.S. Secretary of Energy - Sen. Ossoff Leads Historic Coalition Push for Hydrogen Energy Investments in Georgia & the Southeast

Dear Secretary Granholm:

We, the undersigned universities, companies, nonprofits, and other leaders, join together to advocate for Georgia's inclusion in a regional Hydrogen Hub as designated by the Department of Energy. The Hydrogen Hub program created under the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act presents a unique opportunity to grow Georgia's economy, expand the state's role as a leader in clean energy development, and lower energy costs for consumers. We share an understanding of Georgia's transportation, logistics, energy, manufacturing and research assets and will collaborate in developing the strongest possible proposal for a Southeast regional hub centered around Georgia.
