Insisting it's his duty to protect the privacy rights of Pennsylvanians, state Attorney General Josh Shapiro said his office is suing top Senate Republicans in an effort to stop them from subpoenaing the personal information of several million voters.

Mr. Shapiro, in a call with the press on Thursday, said Pennsylvanians have a constitutional right to keep their personal information private, something that's been upheld by the state Supreme Court.
