This week, U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA) released the following statement in response to insulin manufacturer Sanofi announcing they will cap the cost of insulin to $35 a month for all uninsured U.S. patients. This announcement follows the Senator's legislation and months long campaign to pass his Affordable Insulin Now Act, capping the cost of insulin to $35 a month.

"People shouldn't have to choose between paying for the insulin they need to live, or their groceries," said Senator Reverend Warnock."That's why I've been pushing to cap the cost of insulin at $35 a month for all Georgians and Americans. I applaud Sanofi's announcement this week for putting people over profits. I call on the Senate to pass my insulin cost cap when we return from recess. Getting insulin legislation over the finish line is one of my top priorities."
