Rep. Fischbach Introduces the SHIP IT Act with Rep. Donalds

The supply chain crisis is far from over. As inflation reaches record levels and backlogs at ports and in the freight industry have continued to increase with no end in sight, Congress has the opportunity to ease regulatory burdens so Americans can sort out the supply chain crisis without government interference. That is why Rep. Fischbach introduced the SHIP IT Act with Rep. Byron Donalds (FL-19).

"Congress should seize any opportunity to ease supply-chain tensions. The SHIP IT Act would do this by targeting specific needs in ports, shipping, and trucking," said Rep. Fischbach. "I am proud to introduce this legislation and urge my colleagues to put it to a vote so workers and consumers can start to feel some relief from this supply chain crisis."
