Representative Rose Cosponsors Bill to Defund the Biden Administration's "Ministry of Truth"

U.S. Representative John Rose announced his support for a bill that would defund the Biden Administration's "Ministry of Truth" which was originally introduced by House Republican Conference Vice Chairman Mike Johnson (LA-04).

The bill follows Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas' announcement that DHS will convene a "Disinformation Governance Board."

U.S. Representative John Rose released the following statement:

"After reading Orwell's 1984, I would have never thought I would live to see the day when our government created a similar governmental department. President Biden and deep state liberals should never be allowed to control Americans' free speech," said Rep. Rose. "President Biden should immediately dissolve this unconstitutional board before it is undoubtedly struck down in the courts."
