Congressman Valadao Stands With Ukraine

Today, Congressman David G. Valadao voted in support of a House Resolution reaffirming Congress' support for Ukraine. The resolution includes several of Rep. Valadao's concerns about the crisis in Ukraine, including the importance of American energy independence, tougher sanctions on Vladimir Putin and his inner circle, and additional military aid to Ukraine.

"I was glad to see widespread, bipartisan support for Ukraine and her people today," said Congressman Valadao. "I have always supported policies to bolster domestic energy production, and I'm glad my colleagues agree that American energy independence is critical to combatting Russia and increasing security for us and our allies. I stand with the people of Ukraine and will continue to work with my colleagues to provide political, financial, and humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people fighting for their freedom."
