Cassidy Announces $14.8 Million for emergency Coastal Resilience

U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), in partnership with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), will grant Louisiana a total of $14,761,299 in relief for Emergency Coastal Resilience aid. Specifically, this funding will help Lake Chien, Dularge Marsh, and Bayou Grand Chenier better withstand natural disasters.

"Louisiana knows the importance of protecting and restoring our coastlines," said Dr. Cassidy. "This investment is a step towards protecting our coastal communities and the families that live in them."
