"President Biden was right: Vladimir Putin is a war criminal. Now, he should back up his statement by reversing his decision not to send F-16s to Poland as they support Ukraine in providing the air cover it needs," said Cole. "The latest aggression from Russia against cities and innocent Ukrainians is an attack on rules-based order and innocent lives are paying the price. America must send a strong message during Ukraine's pursuit of air superiority. By achieving air superiority, Ukraine can defend its sovereignty, shield innocent life and better prosecute the defense of its nation. I am proud to introduce this resolution in support of the means to make that happen."
