REP. TED BUDD JOINS COALITION CALLING OUT BIDEN'S DHS OVER BORDER CRISIS

Today, Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) joined a coalition of more than 50 House members to send a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas calling him out for the Biden administration's failure to address the crisis on the southern border.

The letter was led by Reps. Brian Babin (R-TX) and Jim Banks (R-IN).

Rep. Budd said in a statement:

"The Biden administration's complete and utter disregard for law and order on the southern border is a dereliction of duty. Secretary Mayorkas has a responsibility to protect the homeland of our country and he has continually failed to do that since he took the job. He has overseen more drugs and more crime flooding into the United States. This historic crisis can be solved if we go back to the policies that worked under President Trump."
