Today, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet released the following statement after meeting with Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, President Joe Biden's nominee to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court:

"Throughout her confirmation hearings this week, Judge Jackson has shown that she is an independent jurist and a highly qualified nominee. Now that I've had an opportunity to review her record, meet with her, and discuss her extensive career on the bench, I have full confidence that Judge Jackson has the character, experience, and genuine commitment to the rule of law to serve on the Supreme Court."

"I fully support her confirmation, and I applaud President Biden for this inspired and historic nomination. I hope my Republican colleagues can put aside partisanship and confirm Judge Jackson with a bipartisan vote."
