Rep. Ted Budd Helps Introduce Israel Anti-Boycott Act

Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) has helped introduce the Israel Anti-Boycott Act along with Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) and dozens of other House members.
First, the bill clearly establishes that Congress opposes the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Critically, the bill confronts the BDS movement by prohibiting boycotts or requests for boycotts imposed by international governmental organizations against Israel.
Rep. Budd said in a statement:
"As anti-Israel and anti-semitic beliefs grow around the planet and even inside our own country, Congress should stand up and clearly oppose movements like BDS and back those words up with strong action to prevent boycotts from applying on American soil or to American companies."
