U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff secured $35 million in funding to support rural businesses across Georgia.

The funding, coming in the form of grants and loans through the United States Department of Agriculture, will help expand resources in rural communities through job training, business expansion, and technical assistance.

"The power of Georgia is in our rural communities. That's why I'm pleased to see millions of federal dollars coming to rural businesses in every corner of the state to not only help businesses recover from the pandemic, but grow and thrive in our changing economy," said Sen. Rev. Warnock. "As a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, I'll continue to listen to Georgia farmers and small business owners to ensure rural businesses have the federal support they need to stay competitive, including financial support, transportation infrastructure, and broadband connection."

"Senator Warnock and I will continue supporting Georgia's rural businesses to recover from the pandemic," Sen. Ossoff said.
