Senator Reverend Warnock Announces $13 Million Federal Investment to Strengthen Rural Georgia

U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA) announced today that USDA will invest $13 million in Community Facilities funding for 29 rural community infrastructure projects throughout Georgia. The funding will be used to strengthen local public services, and connect rural residents to critical community services and facilities in 22 rural counties in the state.

"No matter where you live, every Georgian deserves access to essential community services such as emergency response and medical care. I'm pleased to see millions of federal dollars flow to rural communities in every corner of the state to ensure rural Georgians are connected to their community and vital public resources," Senator Reverend Warnock said. "This federal funding is an investment in rural Georgians' safety, health and quality of life, and I am committed to continue delivering for our rural communities. I was proud to secure over $9 billion in the bipartisan infrastructure law to connect rural Georgia communities physically through roads and bridges and virtually by expanding access to broadband. I will continue to serve as rural Georgia's voice and champion in Washington."
