Rep. Zeldin Statement on International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Statement

Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), co-chair of the House Republican Israel Caucus and one of two Jewish Republicans in Congress, issued the following statement in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day:

"Nothing in human history truly compares to the hatred, destruction and pure evil of the Holocaust. There is no equivalence to the cold-blooded murder of six million Jews and millions of others. While there is plenty of disagreement and a broad range of passionate, diverse opinions in our politics, it's critical we always remember to keep perspective in our debates and recognize that nothing measures up to the evil of Hitler and the Nazis. We need to learn, teach future generations and ensure we never forget, and this darkest moment in our world's history never happens again."
