Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) today issued the following statement marking the one-year anniversary of President Biden taking office:

"One year into the Biden presidency and we have 40-year high inflation, a supply chain bottleneck, skyrocketing energy prices, an unsolved crisis at our southern border, waves of violent crime in big cities, weakened American standing on the world stage, and a pandemic, which we were promised would be "shut down' months ago. Sadly, that list just keeps on going. Our nation deserves competent, transparent leadership and we aren't getting it from the one-party rule in Washington that's wreaking havoc on the lives of Americans. The pendulum can't swing back fast enough. Balance is desperately needed immediately."
