Wilson Praises Economic Success in South Carolina

Washington, Mar 9 - Today, Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) issued the following statement after the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the unemployment rate in South Carolina had dropped a full 1% to a new level of 6.2%:

"Today's extraordinary news demonstrates that South Carolina's economy is improving and that Governor Sanford is leading our state in the right direction. When we have the second fastest job growth in the nation, it is obvious that his conservative policies are directly benefiting South Carolina's families. While I am thrilled about this progress, I will remain dedicated to decreasing taxes and eliminating excessive government regulations to ensure that jobs continue to be created in our communities."
