USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT AWARDS $75,000 FOR PATROL VEHICLE IN TOWN OF GLEN LYN

Statement

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development today awarded a $75,000 grant to the Town of Glen Lyn for a new patrol vehicle. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

"Rural communities often face difficulties in reliably funding or upgrading the public services they provide. Today's award of $75,000 in funding from USDA Rural Development to Glen Lyn for a new patrol car will improve public safety and quality of life for its residents."
