Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) released a statement after supporting H.R. 5609, Cattle Contract Library Act, and H.R. 5290, to extend authorization for livestock mandatory reporting. Both bills passed last night.

"North Carolina cattle producers deserve access to a free and open market with increased transparency. These bills will help ensure that our ranchers and producers are able to capitalize on their hard work at a fair market price."
