Hinson Helps Introduce Bipartisan Legislation to Bring Critical Supply Chain Manufacturing Back to U.S.

Date: Dec. 8, 2021
Location: Washington, DC

Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) helped introduce the bipartisan Critical Infrastructure Manufacturing Feasibility Act, legislation that will help bring critical supply chain manufacturing back to the United States and foster jobs in rural communities.

"The current supply chain breakdown has reinforced the need to shore up our domestic manufacturing and production, especially for critical products. For decades, rural communities have suffered as factories shuttered and well-paying jobs were offshored to China. This legislation will set the U.S. up to bolster our domestic manufacturing sector to create jobs, boost our national security, and ensure our supply chain is reliable and functional."-Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
