Republican Study Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Banks released a statement following House Democrats' passage of Biden's so-called "Build Back Better" plan.

Said Rep. Banks: "Today's vote is shameful. Democrats just cast a vote to turn our country into a socialist country. Working Americans and families will come out on the losing end as Democrats massively expand government's control over our lives."
