Arrington Issues Statement After Voting Against Democrats' Multi-Trillion Reconciliation Bill

Today, Rep. Jodey C. Arrington (TX-19) issued the following statement after voting against Democrats' radical, multi-trillion tax-and-spend bill:

"This massive tax and socialist spending bill will do irreparable damage to our already fragile economy, trap millions of Americans in a perpetual state of government dependency, and stick our children with a ruinous tab.

"It's insulting and indefensible for Democrats to wrap themselves in the flag of economic fairness while carving out special treatment for unions and other political allies, giving tax breaks to blue-state millionaires, and providing amnesty and cash assistance to illegal immigrants.

"This largest expansion of the people's government will crush our economy, compromise our freedoms, and quench the American spirit."
