U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a statement prior to President Joe Biden's virtual meeting with Chinese Communist Party General Secretary Xi Jinping.
"President Biden needs to deliver more than just tough words to Xi Jinping," Rubio said. "At this very moment, the Chinese Communist Party is using slave labor to undercut American workers and companies. It is committing genocide against Uyghurs, stealing intellectual property from American companies, hacking into our critical infrastructure systems, and threatening our allies and partners. Actions speak louder than words, and clearly Xi Jinping cannot be trusted."
