Today, Representative Lois Frankel (FL-21) released the following statement after Governor DeSantis asked the Florida State Legislature to introduce legislation during the upcoming special session to prohibit mask and vaccine mandates for workers and students.

"Floridians want to keep their families healthy and safe," said Rep. Frankel. "The governor should not bully or threaten employers who want to use commonsense recommendations from the CDC to prevent the spread of COVID-19--the main cause of job loss, school closures, illness, and death in this state and across the country over the past 20 months."
