Today, the Senate passed a resolution cosponsored by U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) recognizing October 2021 as National Dyslexia Awareness Month.
"Dyslexia is a common learning disability that can pose significant challenges to students and adults," Senator Capito said. "I'm thrilled the Senate passed our resolution, which will help us to continue raising awareness about the need for early screening, diagnosis, and evidence-based invention."
