WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, Congresswoman Lisa McClain (R-MI) voted against raising the debt ceiling.
"Our country has a serious spending problem. Instead of continually raising the debt ceiling, we need to get our spending under control," said Rep. McClain. "The Democrats are bankrupting our country and saddling our future generations with an incredible amount of debt. Enough is enough, we need to stop spending money we do not have."
