Next week, U.S. Senator Steve Daines will be reintroducing the "Denying Pensions to Convicted Child Molesters Act," to prevent convicted child predators from receiving government-funded pensions. This follows the public release of the Indian Health Service's report examining how the agency allowed convicted sexual predator Stanley Patrick Weber to work in IHS as a pediatrician while abusing his patients.

"IHS failed us all when it ignored warnings and enabled Stanley Weber to perpetrate his abuses against his young patients. Despite being convicted for his crimes, Weber was able to collect his taxpayer-funded pension for years. That is not acceptable. I am reintroducing my bill to ensure taxpayers never again fund the pensions of convicted child molesters," Daines said.
