"During my weekly press conference, I told reporters that we are on the cusp of advancing two transformational investments in our people & our economy. I remain hopeful we will reach agreement on the #BuildBackBetter Act and vote on the bipartisan infrastructure bill soon.

I also highlighted for reporters that many economic indicators show that @POTUS economic agenda is working. Unemployment claims have dropped to new pre-pandemic lows, our economy is growing at the fastest rate in 40 years, & nearly 5 million jobs have been created since January.

Finally, I said to the press that it remains my hope that we can pass the bipartisan infrastructure bill that passed the Senate with 69 Senators in support & includes $550 billion in new federal investments for roads, bridges, water infrastructure, resilience, internet, & more."
