United States Senators Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) released the following statement today following the Senate's vote to confirm Massachusetts Superior Court Judge Angel Kelley to serve as a judge on the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
"Judge Kelley has demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing equal justice under law and has been a leader in educating her colleagues on how they can bring about a more equitable legal system. We are proud to have recommended her nomination to President Biden, and are very pleased the Senate has voted to confirm her. We have no doubt that she will have a long and distinguished career on the federal bench."
