Rep. Calvert Statement on the Attacks in Kabul

Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-42) issued the following statement on Afghanistan:

"As we learn of the increasing number of brave U.S. service members killed today, there are no words that can possibly ease the pain or grief of these families. It is a devastating day for our country. I must also express the deep frustration and anger over how this evacuation has been handled and that today's attack was entirely avoidable. However, right now, my focus is entirely on the safety of our U.S. service members in country. God Bless our troops."
