Washington, DC - Today, Congressman Van Drew announced fire companies in South Jersey that received the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Awards.
"I am excited to announce that four fire companies in New Jersey's Second District were awarded grants from FEMA's Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program," said Congressman Van Drew. "These grants are vital to assist fire companies in guarenteeing that they have the equipment and resources necessary to ensure public safety."
Borough of Avalon: $571,428.57
Gorshen Volunteer Fire Company: $63,323.81
City of Wildwood: $230,000
Collings Lakes Volunteer Fire Department: $38,192.38
