U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH) released the following statement after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted full approval for Pfizer-BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine:

"This is welcome news. As the Delta variant surges across the Granite State and our country, increasing vaccination rates is the best thing we can do to save lives and support economic growth. The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective, and free for all Americans, and today we have seen yet another proof point of its success."
