Today, U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) issued the following statement on the Pfizer vaccine receiving full Federal Drug Administration (FDA) approval:

"The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has been given full FDA approval, which many Americans were waiting for. It's safe and incredibly effective at preventing serious complications, hospitalization, and death. Now is a good time to get the vaccine if you haven't already."
