Rep. Ted Budd Secures Federal Grant for Thomasville Fire Department

Today, Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) announced that he helped secure an $80,000 competitive federal grant for the Thomasville Fire Department.
The grant came from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters grant program. The funding will be used to install Source Capture Exhaust Extraction Systems in two fire stations, which will remove diesel soot from the air inside the stations.
Rep. Budd sent a letter of support for this grant on June 2, 2021.
