Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) has proposed an amendment to H.R. 4373 that would prohibit any foreign assistance provided by American taxpayers from being used to pay bonuses or pensions to the family of dead Palestinian terrorists.
The bill is similar to Rep. Budd's Iron Dome Reinforcement Act and No Bonuses for Terrorist Act.
The text of the amendment is HERE
Rep. Budd said in a statement:
"We give millions of taxpayer dollars to the Palestinian Authority each year, and it's estimated that they spend about 7 percent of their annual budget as payouts and bonuses to the families of dead terrorists. This is unacceptable. American taxpayers should not have to worry that their dollars are going to support Islamic terrorists. Taxpayers deserve more accountability about how and where our foreign aid is spent."
