Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) proposed an amendment to H.R. 4502 to defund $100 million Environmental Justice grants, a key piece of the radical Green New Deal agenda.

"The Green New Deal is radical, unworkable, and dangerous to the future of America. Taxpayers would be better off if this $100 million was used to expand rural broadband, fight the opioid crisis, or pay down the national debt."
