Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) has proposed an amendment to the FY 2022 Financial Services Appropriations bill to require all personnel in the Biden White House to complete a financial literacy course focused on inflation.

Rep. Budd said in a statement:

"Under the Biden Administration, inflation has grown into a full blown crisis. Consumer costs have risen by the highest rate in 13 years, and it's eating away at the buying power of every single North Carolinian. In the end, inflation is a tax that is directly caused by the reckless spending Under Biden/Harris. To address this administration's clear lack of knowledge on this subject, every member of the White House staff should complete a course on the financial effects of inflation. Maybe then they will reconsider the dangerous fiscal course they are leading our country and its citizens."
