Today, Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) released the below statement after the Biden administration announced an extension of temporary cross-border travel restrictions through August 21st:

"The Biden administration's short-sighted decision to yet again extend temporary cross-border restrictions is another blow to border communities in Washington state," said Larsen (WA-02), whose district includes a portion of Whatcom County. "The best way to build back better is to safely reopen the U.S.-Canada border to support residents and small business owners who feel left behind by the administration's policies."
