"I strongly condemn the horrific assassination of President Moïse and pray for First Lady Moïse's recovery. This violent attack underscores the rapidly deteriorating and deeply concerning political situation in Haiti, and I support President Biden's offer of assistance. The Haitian people deserve a safe and secure country, and my thoughts are with them during this difficult time."
