Washington, DC -- Today, Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) issued the below statement following the committee passage of their bill , the Federal Rotational Cyber Workforce Program Act, to bolster America's cybersecurity capabilities and meet the heightened threats in the digital age.

"While we don't agree on everything, the severity of the cyber threat has proven so immediate that both conservative Republicans and progressive Democrats came together to support our bill. As we saw recently with the Colonial Pipeline attack, the cyber threat is real and ever present. We thank Chairwoman Maloney for recognizing the urgency and moving our bill through the legislative process. We are confident House leadership will bring this critical legislation to the floor soon. We have no time to waste. It's time to lead the way in 21st century cybersecurity."
