Congressman Cohen Votes to Rein In Big Tech

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, today spoke in favor of six measures aimed at reining in the power of Big Tech on the second day of the Committee's mark up of the legislation.

In his remarks, Congressman Cohen said in part:

"The wealth they accumulate is beyond the "robber barons' and it's our duty to see to it that Main Street and the average American get the opportunity to compete in industry and not be slaves to the Big Tech controllers which are out there. These bills do give more power to the individual and more choice to the individual and help preserve Main Street and the basis of our society."
