ADERHOLT CONGRATULATES NEW HOUSE MAJORITY LEADER

Congressman Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) today made the following statement on newly elected U.S. House of Representatives Majority Leader John Boehner of Ohio:

WASHINGTON, DC -- "I congratulate Congressman John Boehner on his recent victory. He aggressively sought the Majority Leader position and will be as aggressive in pushing a conservative agenda in the House. I would also like to commend my other colleagues who were willing to run for that position. They ran races of integrity and represented the party well.

"John Boehner is a good man who cares deeply about the concerns that face our Nation. He is very articulate, and I think he will be an excellent leader for our Conference. I look forward to working with Majority Leader Boehner to make this Nation an even better place to live, work, and raise a family."
