WASHINGTON - Congressman Andrew Garbarino released the following statement on the outbreak of violence against Israel perpetrated by Hamas:

"I am deeply concerned about this escalation of violence. Israel unequivocally has the right to defend its people and its sovereign land from attacks perpetrated by the terrorist organization Hamas and deserves the United States' full support as it endeavors to restore order."
