Today, Senator Rick Scott released the below statement after Democrats in the U.S. House and Senate announced the reintroduction of a resolution supporting a Green New Deal.
Senator Rick Scott said, "The Green New Deal is as unserious and useless as the rest of the Democrats' radical agenda. While Washington liberals remain detached from reality and insistent on killing jobs to appease their woke base, I'm staying focused on serving Florida's families and addressing the real issues facing our nation like Biden's border crisis, rising inflation and liberal attacks on our voting systems and courts."
