Across the state and nation, significant progress has been made in the effort to increase COVID-19 vaccination rates. However, health disparities within communities have made it challenging to equitably reach some among our diverse population, resulting in a growing gap in vaccination rates for Latino Americans. That's why Congressman Jerry McNerney (CA-09) will hold a virtual town hall on Tuesday, April 20th from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM to discuss how these disparities have impacted the Latino community, and to answer questions about COVID-19 and the available vaccines. The Congressman will be joined by special guests Dr. Hector Bonilla, Associate Professor of Medicine and Infectious Disease at Stanford University, Jose R. Rodriguez, President & CEO of El Concilio, and Juan Francisco Prieto, California Human Development.
