Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) released the following statement regarding the shootings at three Atlanta spas this week:

"In the past year we have seen a rise in hate against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. This week, that hate took the lives of eight Americans in Atlanta--six of whom were Asian women. We must condemn hatred and bigotry and continue to stand up against it. Our deepest condolences go to the families impacted by this tragedy."
