U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Energy awarded $250,000 to the University of North Dakota (UND) Energy and Environmental Research Center (EER).

The funds will be used to integrate an ammonia-based energy storage technology for deployment at coal-fired power plants.
