Today, Congressman Jamie Raskin (MD-08) announced that he will continue serving on the House Judiciary Committee, the Committee on Oversight and Reform, the Committee on House Administration, the Rules Committee, and the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis in the 117th Congress. He was also renamed Chair of the Oversight Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.
"I'm thrilled to continue working with my dedicated colleagues and the expert Chairs of our Committees," said Rep. Raskin. "As we advance on our legislative agenda for the people, I look forward to working closely with the Biden Administration to see our country through the deadly pandemic and to restore government as an instrument for the common good. Along with our colleagues in the Senate, we will get America back on the road to progress and well-being for all."
This is Rep. Raskin's third term serving on the Judiciary, Oversight and House Administration Committees. This is his second term serving on the Rules Committee, the Coronavirus Select Subcommittee, and as Chair of the Oversight Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.
