"In her third State of the State address, Gov. Laura Kelly explicitly called for investment in technology infrastructure, and she spoke more broadly about having a science-based approach to governing, from vaccines to economic development. Kelly singled out broadband as one of five focus areas for economic growth in Kansas, because it bolsters small businesses, agriculture, remote work, remote learning, higher education and so many other endeavors."
