Recently, U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) joined Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Rep. Elise Stefanik's (R-NY) resolution calling for an international investigation into the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) cover-up of the COVID-19 outbreak. The WHO has allowed Beijing to dictate the terms of the investigation and stated their intention is "not about finding China guilty."

"From the very first case of COVID-19, the Chinese government has lied to the world about the severity of Coronavirus and facilitated a global pandemic. China's dishonesty is responsible for the lost lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans," said Senator Tillis. "Instead of demanding answers and pushing for transparency, President Biden is rejoining the World Health Organization without asking for any meaningful changes to an international organization complicit in spreading this deadly virus. As our nation's leader, President Biden must hold China accountable for their malicious actions."
