Tonight, Congressman Bill Huizenga released the following statement after the U.S. Senate confirmed Janet Yellen as Secretary of the Treasury by a vote of 84-15.

"Congratulations to Janet Yellen on being confirmed as our nation's first female Treasury Secretary. I look forward to continuing our debate - that began when Secretary Yellen served as Fed Chair - on the most effective policies to help Americans get back on their feet, grow our economy, and move our nation forward."
